Media lab

Het medialab biedt de mogelijkheid om te werken en te experimenteren met een breed scala aan digitale en analoge media zoals fotografie, film, video, geluid, 3D, elektronica en computergebruik. Het bestaat uit een werkplaats en diverse faciliteiten, waarvan de meeste 24/7 toegankelijk zijn. Het is mogelijk om video's en foto's te maken, te werken met natuurlijk en kunstmatig licht, chroma keying, geluid op te nemen in hoge kwaliteit, 2D- en 3D-scanning, video- en geluidsbewerking, 3D-modellering, en nog veel meer. De equipment desk biedt allerlei A/V-tools, zoals video- en fotocamera's, audioapparatuur, licht en presentatieapparatuur.

Workshops

De technische werkplaatsen van de Rijksakademie zijn al decennialang een plek van innovatie en experiment. Onder leiding van specialisten die nauw samenwerken met de residents, faciliteren de werkplaatsen de uitwisseling van expertise en creëren ze de mogelijkheid tot interdisciplinaire projecten met zowel nieuwe als traditionele materialen en technieken.

Material Library

The Material Library collects information about materials used in the technical workshops of the Rijksakademie. The aim is to create a resource that promotes sustainable use of these materials by our residents. We also like to share this information with others in the field.
