Her studio practice focuses on personal and political lineages of information – specifically on improvisational and dialogue-based methods of knowledge transmission. While in residence at the Rijksakademie, she focused her research on puppetry, which led her to following a course in object-based therapeutic practices, and expanded her material practice in the mold making workshop. Through the residency, puppetry has emerged as a tool in her practice, incorporating and aiding in her existing uses of voice, writing, performance, and video.
Alongside puppetry, Lili works in video, sound, sculpture, textile, drawing, and performance.
