Open Studios 2024 (May 30 – June 2)

The Rijksakademie opens its doors again this spring for the annual Open Studios. The event kicks off during Amsterdam Art Week, and runs from 30 May to 2 June. Artists in residence will share what has emerged from a period of experimenting, researching and producing new work. For a long weekend, all corridors and spaces in the building will be buzzing with creativity. In addition to the multi-faceted studio presentations, there will be an extensive programme of performances, films, talks and collective projects. Visitors will have the chance to engage with the breadth of practices and ideas that artists have developed, which push boundaries of what contemporary art can be and do.
