Pam Virada (b. Bangkok, Thailand) engages the cinematic and the temporal through site-relational works attuned to the atmosphere, domestic spheres, and spatial conditions. Working across mediums, she approaches expanded cinema through mixed-media installations, moving image, and ephemeral sculptural arrangements, where she extends the cinematic into spatial, material, and embodied experience.
Drawing on hauntological undercurrents, Virada explores how layered memories, realities, and experiences—from familial constellations to the socio-political sphere—conjure presences in space. Her work lies in the in-between, where these uncanny yet comforting forces may linger.
