Lucas Lugarinho

Lucas Lugarinho works with video games and painting, sampling disparate media ecosystems into counter-colonial narratives that explore what political alliances emerge from encountering otherness.

He has presented a solo exhibition at Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil (2021), while recent collective exhibitions include Fundación Migliorisi (2024), Museo de Arte de Monterrey (2023), SAVVY Contemporary (2023), and Centrale Fies (2023). Has been awarded the Cisneros Foundation Grants & Commissions Award for Emerging Artists (2020).
