Eugene Macki's practice encompasses a range of disciplines, including installation, sculpture, land art, experimental video, performance, and collaborative practice. His work investigates concepts of existence, value, and transformation, with a particular focus on reification—the process of regarding abstract concepts as having material existence. His installations often draw inspiration from archaeological sites and ancient monuments, creating a sense of history, mystery, and depth where stories and secrets are waiting to be discovered.
