My work is largely about power dynamics, sexuality, and gender. An important part of my research comes from practicing Martial Arts and various forms of Sex Work for almost a decade now. I am interested in how these two worlds relate to each other, aesthetically and contextually. I’m drawn to messy situations, inherent contradictions, such as violence and affection, hyper-masculine and homoerotic, playful consensual activities such as fighting and/or BDSM, and jumbled desires.
